THEFT OF MAIL MATTER.
* (PBEBS ASSOCIATION TBLIGBAM.) NEW PLYMOUTH, September 18. Raymond Jack Vernon Elliott was charged in the Magistrate's Court today with breaking open post-boxes in New Plymouth, Stratford, and Waitara, and theft of mail matter. Elliott pleaded guilty to all the charges and was committed to the Supreme Conrt for sentence. Reginald Eugene Seager, at present serving a sentence j>f two years for breaking, entering, and theft at Hawera, was charged with the theft of £4O in Auckland on March 13th. He pleaded guilty and was sentenced to six months' hard labour concurrent with the former sentence-
