HUNDALEE SCENIC BOARD.

A meeting of Ike Hundalee Scenic Board was held at Goo* Bay, Kaikonra, on Saturday presided over by the Commissioner of Cr.'wn Lands, Marlborough. There were present: Mr James Boyd {chairman, Kaikoura County Council), Dr. Withers, Messrs F. W. Freeman, H. E. Kennett, and A. E-ud-lev Dob son (Canterbury Automobile Association), also Mr Elvy (secretary), and Mr Gooch, inspector of the camping reserves along the Kaikoura coast. It was decided to proceed with the erection at Goose Bay of the caretaker's cottage, aa. designed by Mr B. J. Ager, architect, Christchurch. Over 160 camping allotments have been pegged off at various places, and there will be a sign posted at localities known as Peach Tree Bend, Paia Point, Goose Bay, Waikarakeka. and Qmihl Landing Place.
