Mrs Annie Elizabeth Cnbu (aged 40 > did not appear at the Police Court this morning, when she was again charged with the murder of her two infant sons. Chief-Detective Hammond obtained a further remand to September 21«t. The Magistrate, Mr F. K. Hunt, eaid he had received a report from the ruentai hospital authorities statin;-; that Mrs Cubis wonld not be fit to appear for some months. "'Under tho circumstances I have written to thr Crown Iycw Office in TVellington anggesting that proceedings should V withdrawn, as the ia too bad to appear/' added Mr Hunt.
