A voluntary levy of twopence on every bale of wool retained for Home consumption, yielding £10,482 yearly, and a levy of one farthing weekly from every employee, yielding £IO,SM, are among the recommendations of the oommittee which ia preparing a eehame to seeore contributions towards the British Research Association's work for the assistance of the woollen and worsted industries.—United Berriee.
