COTTAGE BURNED.
CHILDREN HAVE NARROW BSCA^E. [*n mu •fselaJ lervlcs.] AUCKLAND, September 15. Foor children had a Barrow escape when a fiv»-roonied cottage at Otahuhu wad burned early this morning. The house was occupied bw E. Giles. The flames had a firm hold when the household waa awakened, and Gilea showed great bravery in rescuing his children. Sirs Giles was an inmate of the hospital at the time.
