HUNGER-STBIKEB DIES. DELHI, September 13. . Jatindernath Dass, of Lahore, who was arrested on a conspiracy charge, and who has been hanger-striking since July 13th, died in Lahore-gaol to-day., He was granted bail a fortnight ago, but refused to leave the gaol, demanding unconditional release, which was not granted.—Australian Press Association. MR SHAW ON SEX APPEAL. (Received September 15th; 5.5 p.m.)' : LONDON, September 14. Mr Bernard Shaw, speaking at the Sexual Reform League Congress, said the woman of the nineteenth century was a masterpiece of sex appeal. Women since then had taken a large step towards nudity; hence sex appeal had vanished. "Bring back clothes," he said, "and sex appeal will be increased." —Australian Press Association. AUSTRALIAN'S DEATH. (Received September 15th ,* 5.5 p.m.) NEW YORK, September 13. A message from Rock Springs (Wyoming) states that Sidney Derbyshire, aged 27, who was on His way from Australia to the East, was found dead in a train near there. According to officials he committed suicide. —Australian Press Association.
