NEW OPERA HOUSE.
Thos« who lot* really good vaudeville cannot fail to appreciate the breezy enter* talnraeat provided by Nat Phillips's • "Whirligigs"" Revo* Company at the New Opera House this week. The first half of the programme consists ol fare of *. varied nature. Hector St. Clair puts serosa some tall stories, helping to keep the audience in nts of laughter. Jack Kellaway in "The Sutler," and Bessie Blake also do their share. Al Mack and Cecil Scott take the parts of commercial travellers in "Haunted." while Daisy Merritt features as their ghostly landlady. Sylvia Gardner and Stella Lamond, In conjunction with the Radio Six Ballet, give some excellent items, the singing, chorus work, and dancing, being of a particularly high standard. Perhaps the heat item, in which tbe whole company participated, was "The Wedding of the P.intei Doll," A clever musical comedy revue entitled Bellboys" occupied the second half, bringing down the -house a good many times. Sprinkled throughout with attractive musical numbers and dances, it was a clever piece of work.
