MILK SUPPLY.
MEETING OP DAIRYMEN. The Christchureh Dairymen's Association is considering the establishment of a milk-testing laboratory in the City and at a meeting of the executive committee of the Association held in the Y.M.C.A., Mr K. K. Todhunter presiding, Cr. J. Parlane reported that he had been making enquiries and had had an interview with Dr. D. E. Hansen, principal of the Christchnrch Technical College, who considered that milk testing tuition could be established at a cost of about £2OO a year. The matter was left in abeyance until further enquiries were made. The secretary reported that so far no reply had been received from the City Milk Supply Committee to the Association's letter suggesting that Dr. A. B. Pearson and Major T. Stafford be added to that committee.
A Health Week campaign was discussed fully and it was decided to arrange a campaign among wholesale and retail dairymen for rawing funds for a judicious advertising campaign during Health Week. In this connexion a further meeting will be held early next week.
