Over 40 arrests have now been made in connexion with the bomb outrages, including that of Frau Dozel, the mother of Captain Herbert Volk, who ia regarded as one of the leaders of the conspiracy, and who escaped to Holland, where the police have been asked to arrest him. Among the others are Uhse and Ehlert prominent Fascist editors of the "Schleswig-Holsteiner" and the "Tages Zeitung." Hammens and Muthmann, leaders of the Holstein farmers' movement, were arrested when leaving a farmers' meeting at Breslau. There has been a further arrest in connexion with the bomb factory which was discovered in a Berlin flat. The majority of those arrested there deny complicity, but gome of those arrested at Hamburg admit their guilt, and further arrests are expected. It is believed that the promptness of the police nipped the conspiracy in the bud. — Australian Press Association.
