FOUND DROWNED.

The adjourned inquest into the circumstances of the death of Richard Withell, whose body was found in the Heath cote river, at Spreydon. on July 28th, was held at the Courthouse yesterday morning, Mr H. P. Lawry. S.M., sitting as Coroner. Evidence was given by Dr. A. B. Pearson, who said that he had conducted a post-mortem examination. The conditions suggested accidental drowning rather than suicide. A verdict that deceased was found drowned, with no evidence how he came to be in the water, was returned.
