IN connexion with the fatality by ■which our two sons lost their lives in the Wilberforce Valley early in the year, we desire very gratefully to express our warm appreciation of the efforts that were made by the residents on the Canterbury side and others to d.seover any traces ol our missing sons. We cannot pay too high a tribute to the splendid work that was done. A large number of well-equ.pped search parties were organised by Mr J. Murchison. of Lake Coleridge Station, and Mr P. Harrison, of Glenthorn. and these, together with other locally organised parties, thoroughly combed the Valley and the surrounding ccuntry, frequently under adverse conditions and at considerable personal sacrifice. We desire to express our grateful acknowledgments to the Right Hon. Sir Joseph Ward, Bart.. Prime Minister, the Hon. Mr T. M. Wilford, Minister for Justice, Mr J. Murchison. Lake Coleridge: Mr P. Harrison, Glenthorn; Mr W. Urquhart and Mr S. Chamberlain, Mt. Algidus: Mr O'Rorke, Oakden; Mr A. Keefe. Peak Hill; Mr Hart and Mr Cameron, Lake Coleridge: Mr R. Anderson, Mt.
