CALIFORNIAN DESERT TRAGEDY.
SEVEN BODIES FOUND. (CYXTSD PBtiS ASSOCIATION—BY «LBCT»IC TELiamXPH —COPTBIGHT.) NEW YORK, July 26. A San Francisco message states that a tragedy of thirst was revealed as searchers followed a zig-zag trail of footprints in the California desert near Nib ad until they came upon the bodies of six people, sprawled face downwards in the sand. They had been passengers in a motor-car which had been found by the search partv. Under the car itself was the hodv of a seventh passenger. He had crawled under the vehicle to seek relief from the burning temperature of 10-5 degrees—United Semce.
