Mrs Ben Howell, who has been a guest at the Hydro Grand Hotel, has returned to Cave. Mrs P. E. Woodhouse, Bluecliffs, is staving with her mother, Mrs B. H. Rhodes, "Came." Sealy street. Mr and Mrs J. C. Guinness, Ealing, are spending a few days in Timaru. Mr and Mrs M. Jamieson, who have been staying with Mrs Elworthy, "Pareora Cottage," Le Cren's terrace, have returned to Christchurch. Mrs D. Studholme, Coldstream, and Mr J. Hodgkins, Four Peaks, are staying with Mr and Mrs E. L. Orbell, '-The Croft," Park lane. Mrs George Rhodes, who has been the guest of her daughter, Mrs B. H. WEDDINGS.
EUDDENKLAU—MEDLICOTT, On Wednesday, July 24th, at St. Augustine's Church, Waimate, a pretty wedding was solemnised, when Kuth Men, younger daughter of Mr and Mrs T. S. Medlicctt, "Greylands," was married to Arthur Frederick, youngest son or" Mr and Mrs H. Euddenklau, "Downlands." The church was decorated for the occasion by the friends of the bride, and the Rev. Canon Cocks performed the ceremony. The bride, who was given away by her father, was gowned in a frock of cream chenille georgette, cut on simple lines and touching the ground at the back. The veil was worn over the face, and she carried a shower bouquet of spring flowers. Her bridesmaids, Misses Betty Appleby, Molly Henderson, and Dulcie Euddenklau, were frocked in rose pink pr velvet, featuring thf> uneven hem lines, with hats to tone. They carried bouquets of spring flowers. The bridegroom was attended by Mr Douglas Kain as best man, and Mr Norton Medlicott and Mr Jack Medlicott as groomsmen. Mrs Medlicott wore a smart navy blue georgette frock and hat to match, with which she wore a dark brown fur stole. Mrs Ruddenklau, mother of the bridegroom, was gowned in a smart black satin and lace frock, and black silk coat with hat to match. i After the breakfast the guests motored out to "Greylands," whence the happy couple left, the bride wearing a chic mulberry-coloured costume with hat to tone. i
AT DIXIELAND.
There were approximately 200 dancers at the Dixieland Cabaret on Saturday evening. A charming ballet by pupils of Miss Dorothy White was greatly appreciated. The lounges and supper room were decorated with spring flowers.
