PIONEER SPORTS CLUB.
ANNUAL MEETING. There was a large attendance of members at the annual general meeting of the Pioneer Sports Club on Saturday night. The president, Mr P. Menzies, was in the chair. In moving the adoption of the annual report, the chairman said that the membership had increased from 446 to 506. The deficit of j£6o in the balance-eheet was entirely clue to the abandonment of the OctoberNovember race meetings. The report and balance-sheet were adopted. Officers for the coming year were elected as follows.—Patron, Mr M. S. Brown; president, Mr Peter Menzies; vice-presidents, Messrs R Wallace, Angus Donaldson, C 8. Thomas, C. Bonnington, P. B. Harman, and K. C. Symes; captain, Mr C. H. Taylor, jun.; vice-captain, Mr W. T. Theile; committee, Messrs R. H. Parker, G. Henderson, R. Ashworth, C. Fisk, T. Marker, F M. Collins, W. H. Jones, W L. Minson, and R. Cordery; honorary auditors, Messrs A. Donaldson and J. Wallace; delegates to Sports Protection Association, Mr Donaldeon. The following trophies were presented by the president: X. K. Gray, first unlimited, hill climb, first fastest time (private owner), second 500 c.c. hill climb, second 350 c.c, Harley-Davideon Cup, Bonnington Cup and medal, Wakefield Cup, Moir Cup, second 500 c.c. beach championship, second 350 c.c. beach championship, second 350 c.c, P.
