MINER KILLED.
♦ (F3XSB ASSOCIATION TILIORAM.) HAMILTON, July 27. Samuel Broadbent was killed by a fall of coal while working at the Rotowaro Mine, of the Taupiri Company, last night. Broadbent was a returned soldier, aged 50. He was a married man with no children. His workmate, J. O'Brien, escaped with bruises.
