After loading tor Hob art and Melbourne she will sail for Dunedin and Bluff to complete. The Calm is due to-morrow from Bluff, Dunedin, and Timaru to load for Wellington ; nd WaDganui. The Gale should bo back at Lyttelton on Wednesday from the north, and is to sail in the afternoon for Dunedin and Timaru. The Storm should arrive on Wednesday from Dunedin and Timaru to load for Wellington, Pie ton, and Wanganui. i The Himatangi is expected to-morrow from . Foxton. The Karetu is due on Thursday from Sydney, via Dunedin, Oamaru, and Timaru. She discharges and then loads for Sydney, sailing via Bluff. The Kahilca is due on Thursday from Gisborne with sheep. She is to sail the same day for Dunedin. The Kaiapoi is on expected arrival on Saturday from Melbourne and Hobart, via Bluff and Dunedin. She sails later for Wellington. The Wingatui should arrivo on Saturday nest from Auckland and Wellington, and is to sail the same day for Dunedin. The Port Dunedin is due here to-morrow or on Wednesday from tho south to load. The lonic was an arrival on Saturday i morning from Timaru to load. She is to sail to-morrow for Wellington. The Mataroa is expected to sail about Wednesday for Port Chalmers to continue discharge of her London cargo. The Canadian Conqueror is expected to sail to-nh-ht for Timaru and Dunedin. The Port Gisborne sailed on Saturday afternoon for Dunedin to continue discharge of her New York cargo. Mr N. J. McMurrich has been appointed chief engineer of the Waikouaiti in place of [ Mr W. C. Falconer, who has transferred to the Kanna. Mr A. R. Wickes has rejoined the Kaponga as chief engineer. Mr D. H. McDonald, third engineer of the Waihemo, has been granted holiday leave. His place has been taken by Mr J. Summers. Mr Monteith has been appointed fourth engineer. The Port Alma, which arrived at Wellington on Friday, is still in command of Captain F. She will load at Bluff, Timaru, Lyttelton, and Wellington, and is scheduled to sail finally from Wellington for Southampton and London on August 2Sth. The Shaw, Savill, and Albion Company have hoen notified *hat the Karainea sailed from LoDdon on Wednesday afternoon with general cargo to discharge at Auckland, Wellington, and Napier. Line that the Tort Auckland left Montevideo on Tuesday for London and West Coast of Great Britain, en route from Wellington. The vessel sailed from Wellington on July 3rd. The Anchor Shipping Company's new cargo steamer Fata, en route from the Clyde 1o Nelson, was sighted by the motor-liner Port Alma at 7 p.m. on July 7th, 750 miles southwest of Panama. The master of the Rata asked the Port Alma to report all was well on board, and that the vessel was averaging a speed of 9J knots. The Rata is expected to arrive at Nelson on or about Thursday next. The Commonwealth and Dominion Line's motor-ship Port Alma arrived at, WellingI ton on Friday mornin? from London direct, and berthed to land passengers, and to commence discharge of general merchandise. The Port Alma left London on June 21st, and experienced favourable weather on the run across to Colon. She left Panama on Jnly 14th, and encountered light winds and moderate seas nntil nearing the New Zealand coast, when heavy westerly gales were met with. The voyage was without incident. The Port Alma brought the following passengers:—Miss Aifken, Miss Hnmer. Miss Allan, Dr. James Fenton. Mri Fenlon, Mr George. Mr Mannine. Miss Bnrdiek. Miss Avery. Mrs Avery, Miss Cleghorn.
