Present indications are for variable winds at first, but sontherlies setting in shortly and becoming fresh to strong, seas generally smooth to moderate, hut rising later on the west coast and south of Castlepoint; moderate to strong south-westerly winds and rising seas in the eastern Tasman; the weather cloudy and unsettled, with general rain; temperatures becoming colder.
