HALSWELL AMATEUR CLUB. The Hals well Amateur Sports Club held a 31-mile road race at Halswell on Saturday afternoon. Thirty-three riders started, f»at times being made. Mackie (1.30) —82min 36 l-ssec. PAPARUA CLUB. Under the auspices of the Paparua Cycling Club a 21-mile road race was held on Saturday, attracting a good entry of 25 cash riders. The race resulted: — L. White (4min), 54min 2sec . . 1 C. Johnston (SJmin), 55min 34« ec 2 H. Watt (7min), 57min 4 1-SIM .. 8 C. Bearman (SJrnin), 54min 34 2-ssec 4 H.
