HARRIERS.

CHRISTCHURCH CLUB. The Chri6tcbarch Harriers' Club held it* club championship and sealed handicap over the 10,000 metres coarse at Cashmere on Saturday afternoon. There were tweaty-fi»e starters. The officials in charge ef the race were as follows: —Messrs J. McKee, Q. G. Lockwood, W. C. Flewellyn, It. Beattie, L. Hill, and E. Ferrier. The pace at the start was not as fast as usual, owing to the heavy condition of the course. H M. Barrer, Jackson, Pascoe, B. A Barrer, and Austin were in the first bunch in the early stages. At the end of about two miles It. It. Barrer commenced to draw away from the rest of the field, and at the water jump he had a lead of about 200 yards. Austin and Fascoe being next. Barrer main tamed his advantage over the bills, and ran in an easy winner. His time was excellent under the heavy conditions.

street. PRESBYTERIAN CLUB. ! Twenty-six Presbyterians and about twenty Baptists attended the combined run from St. George's Church, Linwood avenue. Beaults: — Fast Pack—B. H. Wood (B.) 1, J. The trail led through Dallington, Bunrood, Aranui, and borne. ANGLICAN CLUB. The Anglican harriers held their second run on Saturday, over a course of about ten miles through Upper Biccarton, Sockbum, Lincoln, and Middleton. The course wa* heavy, the ground being sodden and in many places under water. The attendance was twenty-three, of whom nine ran in the alow pack and fourteen in the fast, this being a fair-sized turn-out considering that it it only the second ran of the new club The trail, starting from St. Peter's Church. Riccarton, was laid by D. Skerten and D. Ackerley. In the run home, J. Rountree and D. Lightfoot were first and aeoond reepectiTely for the fast pack, and P. Fuller and C. Skerwn for the slow. Tea was kindly provided by the members of St. Peter's Girls' Club. METHODIST CLUB. Tha Methodist harriers held their run from Union street, New Brighton, on Saturday' afternoon, as the guests of the Ret. O. and Mrs Pearn. A eood trail of about seven or eight mile* led down Bexley street towards South Brighton and then backing across country to meet Page's rosd. Thi« wa» crossed and the trail then led toward* North Brighton and along the North tram line and finally through the New Brighton Domain. The results o: the run rrome were:—Fast' pack: C.
