WEST OF ENGLAND SOCIETY.

At a social held by the Canterbury West of England Society items were given by Miss Round, Mr Burke, Mr Farrant, Mr Richards, Miss Heath, Mr Bishlager, and Mr Laws. Miss Heath played the accompaniments. During the supper interval a voluntary collection was taken up on behalf of the Earthquake Fund and two guineas were collected. Ten new members were enrolled. In the second half the members of the Tennyson street Congregational Church Dramatic Party gave the play, "The Imaginary Invalid."
