N PURSUANCE of the provisions of "THE COUNTIES ACT, 1920," Section 120 and 123, "The Rating Act, 1925," Section 51 to 58, "The Hospital and Charitable Institutions Act, 1909, Sections 41 (9), the Wairewa County Council will at its Ordinary Meeting to be held on Tuesday, the 6th day of August, 1929, make and levy the following Rates: — A General Rate of Seven-eighths (J) in the pound (£), in KAITUNA RIDING. A General Rate of Three-farthings (Id) in the Pound (£), in the LITTLE RIVER RIDING. A General Rate of One Penny Farthing (Ud) in the Pound in the KINLOCH RIDING, and on All Rateable Properties as now appearing upon the Valuation Rolls for the Several Ridings, within the County of Wairewa, on the basis of the capital value.
