N.S.W. COAL STOPPAGE.
EXTENSION THREATENED. (CSITBD PBBSS ASSOCIATION —BT EUCTBIC TBLIORAPH —COPTRIOHT.) SYDNEY, July 13. While a peace conference is being held in Sydney for the reopening of the northern mines, an independent dispute over stone-dusting threatens to throw the southern coalfields idle next week. The managements of the mines insist that the miners carry out stonedusting, but the miners refuse to do it on the grounds that it is injurious to their health. —Australian Press Association.
