Two Atlantic flights started from Le Bourget Aerodrome this morning. The Polish airmen, Idzikowski and Kubala, set off at 4.45 a.m., and the Frenchmen, Costes and Belloutes, at 6.20 a.m. The latter flew over Santander at 9.30 a.m. Kubala's aeroplane was sighted at 9 a.m. at latitude 46.25 north, longitude 9.8 west. It was flying at a height of 800 feet. Coetes' aeroplane sent a wireless message stating that it was flying without a hitch, half-way to the Azores. —Australian Press Association, United Service.
