S'. Albans turned out with a team weakened by the absence oi J. Soper and P. X. Qiuut.-imain, and Trinity had things all their own way. The Trinity backs and goalkeeper were merely spectators and the first spell was a succession of onslaughts by the Trinity forwards. The Trinity forwards opened their scoring account shortly after the opening bully, McCormick being responsible. Then J',. Collins added two more goals and C. Rogers one. Trinity eased up and Larfen started a St. Albana rush which was promptly stopped by B. Rogers, who put the Tiinity forwards m possession once more, and I:. Collins, A. Graham, and D. McCormick added goals before half-time, which blew with the score: Trinity' 7, St Albans 0. Trinity took matters easy in the second spell and McCormick, Graham <2'i, and C. Rogers registered goals. With only a few minutes to go, Larsen pot away and after a solo run, scored St. Albans only goal. Final scors: Trinity 11, St. Albana 1. Referees- Messrs A*. Hahn and J. Alrnonc. SELWYN v. WHAKENCT. Wharenui had the better of the opening stages and secured a couple of resultiess corners. Th.» Selwyn forwards transferred play to'their opponents' circle, where H. Bed opened their total. Edgington set Mounsey ■ oin-, and a well-judged centre enabled 1 ullwood to notch with a brilliant shot. AA harenui confined p\*y to Selwyn territory for a time Then Selwyn attacked solidly and from a penalty corner, S. Bell was successful with a hard shot. Lane accepted a pass from H. Bell and ran iu to score easily. Half-time score: Selwyn 3, Wharenui 1. On resumption, Selwyn showed their superiority, but H. Bell's shot at goal was disallowed. Solwvn maintained the pressure and Getson ■passed infield for H. Bell to score with a hot shot. Getson added another foon after. The same player gave S Bell a chance and he made Selwyn 6 up. Wharenui rallied and held nlav in Solwvn'* circle, Full wood finally finding the net. Selwvn came again and Getson centred for S. Bell to net. H. Bell an eighth goal Wfore the final whistle sounded. Scores: Se'-vyn 8, Wharenui 1, Referee Mr S. dements. SYDENHAM v. VARSITY. Play remained in midfield for a time. 'Varsity took the ball to Sydenham a end but an offside breach spoiled their chance. Sydenham attacked hotly but breaches prevented a acore. Sydenham secured a corner, which proved fruitless. Aarsity took the offensive and were rewarded when Dowds opened their total from well out. Sydenham swept downfield and from a corner, J. Anderson »«"•*»*{»* fast shot from the circle edge Sydenham came again, but Holland relieved when things looked dangerous. Some uninteresting play followed, Wells finally sending the Sydenham forwards away. M^f 0 ™ 1 * «»?* right out and Mayston dodged behmd to score easily.
