SHIPPING NOTES. The Breeze, which was expected to-morrow from Onakaka and Picton, is now due st Lyttelton to-day from Wellington, and wiil dock for minor repairs. The rnotor-ehip Port' Dunedin ia now expected to-morrow from Wellington to continue discharge of her West of England cargo. The Cumberland has been delayed at Wellington and is due to-morrow to discharge cargo . from Glasgow and Liverpool. She is to sail on Monday for Tiic&ru. The Shaw, Savi'l.. and Albion ■ liner Kia Ora is expected this morning from Bluff. Sho has 3200 tons of dsrgo from tho Continent and London st Lvttelton. She is to sail Wu Monday for New Plymouth to complete dfsehsrge.
The Karow should arrive to-day from Dunedin with cargo from Edithburg and Melbourne for discharge. She is expected to sail this evening for Wellington, New Plymouth, Auckland, and Portland. The Cygnet was due during last night from Kaikoura and Wellington, and is to sail to-night on the return trip. The Kahika, due this morning from Dunedin, Oamarn, and Timaru, loads for Napier and' Gisborne, and sails via Wellington. The motor-ship Brand sailed yesterday afternoon for Auckland, where she will complete discharge of her cargo of hardwood. TheHolmdale is now expected on Tuesday from the south to load for Wellington and Wan'ganuh The John is still timed to load here on Monday for Wellington, New Plymouth, and Waikato.
It is doubtful if the Himatangi can get ] here before Tuesday to load for Poiton. The Mako should arrive on Sunday from | Wellington and loads here on Monday for , Baßt Coast ports of the North Island. The Tees ib completing her annual over- t haul at LiTttelton, and is to sail on Saturday with cargo for Wellington, Westport, and : Greymonth. \ Tho Goldea West is now due at Lyttel- ; ton on Tuesday from Wellington to complete ; discharge of her cargo from Los Angeles.' The Totara is due to-morrow from New Plymouth direct and loads here for Napier direct. The Kaimanawa is duo on Saturday from Portland and Wellington. She is to sail fen Monday for Durfedin to complete discharge of her cargo of cement and nitrates. The Waihemo should arrive • on Sunday from Napier to discharge cargo from Los Angeles. She is expected to sail on Tuesday for Dunedin, Bluff, and New Plymouth. The Wingatui sailed last evening for Dunedin and Timaru. and is. due back on Sunday. ' She takes in cargo here on Monday for Auckland and sails via Wellington and Picton. . The Poolta, from Westport with coal, is now expected at Lyttelton on Monday. The Katoa is dne on Tuesday from Auckland, via- Wellington, and is to sail the same day for Dunedin. The Kartigi is duo at Lyttelton on .July 21st from Auckland, Castlecliff, and Wellington. She is to sail the following day for Dunedin, Bluff, Hobart, and Melbourne. The Kaitangata is due on Thursday next from Gladstone with coal for the New Zealand Railways. The Waikouaiti is due the following day from Port Kembla. also with coal for the Railway Department. The Ruahine is now due at Wellington on July 21st from Southampton. Th» Hertford is due at Auckland on August Ist from Liverpool. She will discharge at the northern port, and at Hawke's Bay, Wellington, Lyttelton, Port Chalmers, and Timaru. The Hororata arrived at Auckland on Tuesday evening from London. She is to sail from Auckland on Monday for Lyttelton, and is due here about Wednesday. Dunedin and New Plymouth Bre her other ports of discharge. The Surrey is due at Bluff to-day from Oamaru to load. She is due at Timaru. on Sunday and at Lyttelton on Thursday. The vessel is to sail from Lyttelton on July 20th for Picton. and is to leave Wellington on July 24th for London, via Panama. The Piako, which sailed from Gisborne on June 6th for London, arrived at Newport News on Saturday, and sailed again on Sundav. The Mataroa, en route from Southampton, left Balboa on Friday morning for Wellington, where she is due on July 23rd. The Canadian Scottish, which left Montreal on June Ist for Auckland and Australia, reports that she expects to arrive at Auckland on Sunday. The Maimoa will now leave Wellington this afternoon for London, via Montevideo and Teneriffe. The Port Campbell, which left Wellington on May 25th, arrived at London on ThursThe Huntingdon, which left Auckland on June 10th for London, sailed from Colon on Thursday. . . , „ The Kaiapoi. from South Australian ports, is to leave Melbourne on July 12th for Hobart to complete loading for Bluff. Dunedin, Lyttelton, and Wellington. Advice has been received by the C. and I>. Line that the Port Alma left Colon on Friday for Wellington. Auckland, and New Plymouth, en route from London. She is now due at Wellington on July 25th. The Tutanekai left Bluff on Tuesday morning for Milford Sound. Jackson's Bay, and Westport. where she is expected to arrive rbout Saturday. The steamer will call at Kahurangi Point to mak= arrangements for putting in a temporary light until permanent repairs can be effected to the damaged lisrht. The tower is practically undamaeed. and it is thought that little difficulty will be found in fixinsr up a light with a radius r>f about eight miles. Mr H. E. Smith has relieved Mr P. H. King as first officer on the Parera. Mr D. J Hay has relieved Mr O. R. Cozens as second engineer of the same vessel. Captain D. O.
