TENDER ACCEPTED FOR EXTENSIONS.

Last evening the City Council decided to accept a tender for extensions to the Municipal Electricity Department's office building, Manchester street. The Electricity Committees report stated that these extensions provide for a demonstration room and Committee room, increased lavatory accommodation, special room for office machines, and other extensions and modifications.
