The greeting in Maori was followed by an address on the pronunciation of the Maori language and its dialectal variations in the south. He concluded by telling some of the legends of the South Island. To-day the Bishop will visit Christ s College, where he will have lunch, and in the afternoon will visit Te Waipounamu College and St. George's Hospital before leaving again for the north in the evening. .
