IDENTITY UNKNOWN.

(PBESS ASSOCIATIOK TBLEG£AJ£.) PALMERSTON NORTH, June 12. An inquest on the body of the unknown man found on the bank of the Manawatu River following the recent flood was held this morning. The police gave evidence that they had failed to trace the identity of deceased. The Coroner returned a verdict that deceased had been found drowned. He said that as deceased was well dressed it was extraordinary that he had not been missed, for he was evidently not a human derelict.
