BURGESSES COMPLAIN OP OPAWA ROAD. "The City Council is laying itself open to blame if any accidents occur on this road," said Mr T. W. West at the meeting of the Opawa Burgesses' Association, ■when the bad state of Opawa road from Cholmondeley avenue to the Opawa bridge was discussed. Members pointed out that this portion of the road was full of potholes, and motorists and cyclists going to Opawa were repeatedly breaking the rule of the road by following the tramline, which was on the right-hand side, thereby running the risk of accident. "It would be worse trying to ride over those potholes," remarked a member. A motorist stated that he followed three motor-cars going to Opawa, and all swung on to the tramline when approaching this section of the road.
