THE ST. JOHN AMBULANCE BRIGADE.

TO THE EDITOR OF THE PRESS. Sir, —The St. John Ambulance Brigade were recently asked to transport from the express from Dunedin to the ferry boat to Wellington a man who was suffering from a fractured tibia and a fractured fibula with complications. Members of the Lyttelton Railway Ambulance Division of the Brigade therefore took charge of this man at the train and transported him on a stretcher to his cabin on the ferry boat. The enclosed is a copy of a letter received thanking the Brigade for services rendered, and in connexion therewith it mar interest your readers to know that the Brigade are always willing and ready to assist in this way persons who rre unfortunate enough to be injured and where assistance is required in transporting them to their homes.—Yours, etc..
