MODEL YACHTING.

The Christchurch Model Yacht Club sailed off the eighteenth club race of the season at Victoria Lake on the last two Saturdays, the wind being so light that only one heat could be completed in the time limit on each day. The races were under the supervision of Mr J. G. Firth. Following are the results: — First Heat (wind light S.W.)—Bob Munro's Isa (hdcp. 2min 20sec) 1; S. W. Smith's Charlie (lmin 50sec) 2; E. Hodges's Rook (50sec) 3; H. J. Boulker's Ruth (lmin 20sec) 4, J. L,. Ruxton's Eteia (3sec) 5. Time, 41min. Second Heat (wind N.E., light)—lsa 1, Huia 2, Rook 3. Ruth i. Time, 43min. The race resulted—lsa, 3 6 points. 1: Huia and Rook, 6 points, each (equal) 2; Charlie, 5 points, 4.
