Since her arrival at Auckj land on May ifth from Apia, via Lyti telton and Wellington, the vessel has j been undergoing repairs and overhaul lat King's wharf. She was originally .>: licduled to leave again on May 10th, but ou the way up the coast her engines gave trouble, and repairs were urgently needed. When the vessel was first laid up lier local agents, Messrs Speeding Ltd., announced that she was to sail on Thursday next, but more extensive repairs have been found necessarv than was originally expected, and khe is being thoroughly overhauled.
