Golf. ■■ .. A.mixed foursome, played at Diamond Harbour on Saturday afternoon for the Lyttel--ton Ferry Launches trophy, was won by-G. Cooper and Miss E. Bundy. The Lyttelton Golf Club held a mixed foursome at CharleEis. Bay yesterday for the Banfield Cup. The winners were H. Le© and Miss M. Sowde'n, -with 75 net. J?; Knights and Miss E. Ayers were the junnersup with a net 77. Methodist Church. ■Following the usual custom, the newlyelected members of the Borough Council, on.the invitation of the Mayor (Mr W. T. Foster), attended the divine service at the Methodist Church last evening. The service was conducted by the Rev. C. Blair. Harbour Light Theatre. There was again a full house at the Harbour Light Theatre on Saturday night, when a double feature programme, consisting of "This Marriage Business," an English production starring Annette Benson, and "The Kid's Clever," a comedy-romance featuring Glen Tryon, was screened. The complete programme will be repeated to-night. To-morrow, "Why Sailors Go Wrong," starring Sammy Cohen and Ted McNatoara, and "Ankles Preferred," featuring. Madge Bellamy, will be screened, together with a News and Fox Variety.
