John Jeffreys Bartlett, aged 61 (Mr P. P. J. Amodeo), was convicted and fined £lO and costs for being found drunk in charge of a car in Edgeware road. His license was cancelled for six months. TRAFB'IC CASES. The following were fined for cycling night without lights:—John Keith Burt*, 10a and'costs (no be!l, no reflector, costs on eacli charge) ; William Joseph Jackson, costs only; Bruce Mackintosh, 10s and costs (no bell or reflector, costs on each charge) ; Noel Graves Parker, costs only (no bell, 10s and costs); Robert William Pounsford, 10s and costs (riding on footpath and without a bell, 10s and costs on each charge). George Thomas Jones and Ooral Phyllis Otten were each fined 10s and costs, ana Noel Symons 5s without costs for riding on the footpath. , Robert Malcolm Ciague was fined £'-! and costs for driving at a speed dangerous to the public. Leslie G. Mcßeath was convicted and fined £2 and costs for driving a car at a speed dangerous to the public. For failing to give way to traffic on the right, Malcolm Lang (Mr G. Branthwaite) was fined 20s and costs. Bint Soanes was fined -2 and costs f.* cutting a corner. Cecil Verey was fined £2 and costs for failing to give way to traffic on the right. For motoring without headlights Carlton Mackay Lipscombe was fined 10s and costs. Erie Gibson Pyke was fined 20s ana costs for having no tail-light to his motorcycle. Charles Arthur Smith was fined 10s and costs for a similar offence, Raymond A, Witbrook costs only, and Thomas, Johnston Morrow, £1 and costs. Lester T. Loversidge wcs convicted an< * fined £2 and costs for driving a car without being the holder of a license. For having no license Raymond A. Whitbrook was ordered to pay costs. Rhodes and Macdonald (Mr H. Rossi were convicted and fined 20s and costs for exposing lice-infected sheep for sale. Thomas Mclutosh and Edward Joseph Henry Vavasour (Mr F. W. Johnston) were each fined 20s and costs for a similar offence. Frederick Alfred Herman Walker was fined 10s for failing to keep to the lett of the centre line of the street. For failing to stop behind a stationary tram car he was fined 20s and costs. (Before Mr H. P. Lawry, S.M.) APPLICATION FOR AFFILIATION. An application for an affiliation against James McGee was granted, witn medical expenses, £lO 6s. Maintenance at the rate of 12s 6d per week was allowed.
