It was recently announced in the British House of Commons that the question of the sale of aspirin through automatic machines had been referred to the committee on the Poisons and Pharmacy Acts. The committee, is unlikely to recommend any restriction upon automatic machines, if only for the reason that person likely to take this drug to excess can in any event obtain unlimited supplies across the chemists's counter.
