Flats within a short distance of the centre of the City are evidently a profitable investment, for a syndicate has under consideration the building of a block ip the west end, which will cover over half an acre of ground- The same syndicate is at present erecting a large block of flats in Cashel street west, and the occupants are to have contorts which are vouchsafed to only tns most fortunate flat-dwellers in the Dominion, There will be disappearing wall beds in the bed-sitting rooms and disappearing dining tables and in the kitchenettes, while every flat will have front and rear entrances.
