(Received May 17th, 8.5 p.m.) LONDON, May 16Mr Edsel Ford turned the first sod of the Ford works which are being erected at Dagenham, in Essex, at a cost of £2,500,000. He expects to employ 15,000 men and begin an output of 300,000 cars yearly.—United Service.
