RANGITIKI OR RANGITIKEI.

TO THE EDITOR Of THE PRESS. Sir,—The N.Z. Shipping Co.'s new motor ship is spelt Rangitiki, but iu the account of the death of Sir James G. Wilson, of Mart on, in today's Press, this word is given m two places as Rniigitikei. Which way is correct? A rather common error in the shipping columns of our papers is the spelling of the s.s. Anglo-Colombian, which is more often than not spelt "\n<'!o-Columbian." —Yours, etc., OZONE. May 6th. [The steamer is called the Rangitiki. The North Island district has alwavs so far as we know, been spelt with the "e."—Ed., The , Press.]
