VARYING REPORTS. (Received May 3rd, 7.15 p.m.) NEW YORK, May '_>. Varying reports to-night from Gate City, Virginia, state that between fifty and eighty bodies of children have been removed from the wreckage of Rye Cove High School, which was demolished by a tornado. The rescuers aro working frantically to extricate some 250 children and teachers from the ruins, which are piled above them. Later reports now indicate that 12 children are known to be dead, and IK) injured.—Australian Press Association.
