Uenttral situation—A slight depression is crossing the Dominion, and a rather intense anti-cyt:lone is moving from Australia on to the Tasman Sen. Forecast—Winds moderate to strong, west to south-west winds squally at times in Foveaux Strait. Seas—New Zealand waters: Seas rough about Foveaax Strait, otherwise smooth to moderate. Tasman Sea: Light to moderate south-westerly winds and smooth to moderate seas in the eastern Tasman Bea. Weather —Weather mainly fair to fine, but
a few isolated showers in the western dis tricts; moderate to cool temperatures.
