«> A meeting of the Bjble-in-Seucois League will be held in the Y.M.C.A. on Friday next, at 7.45 p.m. The annual fair cf the Cathedral Grammar School will be held at the school this afternoon and evening. A public address on "The Aims and Methods of English Modernism" -will be jriren by the Rev. H. D. A. Major, D.D., iu the Little Theatre, Canterbury College, on Friday nest, at 8 pm. The autumn show of the Woolatcn Horticultural Society will be opined in the Woolaton School to-day, at ? p.m. A general mretinj; of the P»panui Football Club will be held in the Memorial Kail on Monday, at 8 p.m. A Rewral meeting of ex-members of the New Zealand Rifle Brigade will be held in the R.S.A. clubroorns on Tuesday, at 7.30 p.m.. to arnng* for the annual reunion.
