ACCIDENTS.
WORKMAN OVERCOME BY GAS.
While excavating a manhole in Tuam street, near Antigua street, yesterday morning a workman named John Hislop McGuffogg was overcome by gas. He was admitted unconscious to the Christchurch Hospital. He regained consciousness later, and his condition is not serious.
MAN INJURED IN COLLISION. A man named T. Kidd, residing at 22 Hay atreet, Bromley, while riding a bicycle in Aid-win's road yesterday morning, was hurt in a collision with 4 motor-car.
