"SAILORS DON'T CARE."

NEXT WEEK AT EVERYBODY'S

Two excellent pictures have been booked for presentation at Everybody'* Theatre next week. They are the First National picture, "The Wright Idea," which Johnny Bine*, the rauch-llked comedian, atari in, and the British film, "Sailors Don't Care," which Estelle Brody plays in. Miss Brody will be remembered as the original screen msdemoisalle from the well-known town of Armentieres, and ail the vivacity and humour of her portrayal in that picture has been used to make "Sailors Don't Care" just as enjoyable. Johnny Hines remains one of the roo*t popular comedians on the screen; his technique is fresh and his comedies always really funny, his gags original, his tiltes witty; and he always chooses a blonde leading lady. This time it is Louise Lorraine. The picture tells the story of an inventor of an indelible blotterless illuminated ink; an old gentleman a little weak in the understanding; the captain of a yacht who steals some bonds, and does a little rum-running, and the endeavours of Johnny Flines to sell his invention, discover the i'onda for the blonde lady, reveal the rascally captain, and extricate himself from the □ nholy mess that his credulity in the weak old gentleman lias placed him. So it is quite obvious that "The Wright Idea" is rich In hnmour, situations* remarkable for their capacity to thrill and amuse, and, in short, a comedy that one can confidently recommend to the public as one that will give complete enjoyment. in the end, but only after considerable plotting, and after many amazing adventures. Wright, of the Wright Idea, accomplishes all the things he set out to do, even unto the winning of the blonde lady.

"Sailors Don't Care" might be considered libellous by the Royal Navy. but the public will consider it just a joyous bit of ••omedy romance. It is the epic story of 'wo jolly tars who. quit® innocently, become mixed up in one of the bigfrest spy scares of the early war years. Secret service agents, and parlourmaids pressed into traitorous service with the enemy, aud hectic getaways in speedy ships, and, in fine, the whole merry thinr. is told with undue wit and sparkle, in "Sailora Don't Care." And coincident with all the intriroing is purely romantic aspect, without which no picture quite ia. John Stuart ia the A.B. Nobby to Estelle Brody's Jenny. Box plan* are now open for this attractive season at The Bristol Piano Company.
