AN APPEAL.

10 THE EDITOB Or THE PBESS. Sir, —Would yon kindly allow me a little of your valuable space to make known our position to your readers? We are very happy to say that daring the past month we have been able to send to employment in various avenues no less than 39 men. Also there have been a number go out seeking work and have succeeded; yet there has been an influx of others who have not been so fortunate, and at the moment we have approximately 70 men, many of whom would be glad of clothing. As we are so short of men's clothing, we would be glad indeed if our friends who have any second-hand clothing would 'phone us (619), when our cart will be pleased to call and collect. As we have many poor families on our hands we gladly receive clothing of any kind. —Tour ß, etc., STAFF-CAPTAIN DRY, Manager Men's Industrial Home. Christchurch, February 14th.
