MAORI DIOCESE.
(PEESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) GISBORNE, December 24. Holy . Trinity Church was crowded last night with a combined Maori and Pakeha congregation at a service of thanksgiving in connexion with the establishment of the new diocese for Maoris. The service was in both Maori and English. Bishop Bennett delivered an impressive address.
