—: —♦ FEDERAL CABINET. A NEW DEPARTMENT. (UNITED PP.E3S ASSOCIATION—BY ELECTRIC •TELEGRAPH—COPYRIGHT.) • SYDNEY, November 30. Mr S. M. Bruce announces the reconstruction of the Federal Cabinet. Mr William C. Hill, Minister for Public Works and Railways, and Senator ■ Crawford, Assistant-Minister, who have resigned, will be replaced by Mr C. L. Abbott, of New South' Wales, and Senator J. E. Ogden, of Tasmania. Cabinet will now be composed of the following: Mr S. M. Bruce, Prime Minister and Minister for External Affairs and Territories. Dr. Earle Page. Treasurer. Senator Sir George Pearce, VicePresident of the Executive Council. Mr J. G. Latham, Attorney-General and Minister for Industry (a new department). Mr H. S. Gullett, Minister for Customs. Mr W. G. Gibson, PostmasterGeneral and Minister for Works. Sir Neville Howse, Minister for Health and Repatriation. Sir T. W. Glasgow. Minister for Dofence. Mr C. L. Abbott, Minister for Home Affairs. Mr Thomas Paterson, Minister for Markets and Transport. Major C. W. C. Marr and Senator McLacblnn, Honorary Ministers. Senn+oc Ogden, Assistant-Minister for Industry.—Australian Press Association'. DR. NOTT DEFEATED. SYDNEY, November 30. The Herbert seat in Queensland is regarded as definitely lost to the Government.' Mr G. W. Martens, the Labour candidate's figures being '25,359, and Dr. L. W. Nott, the Nationalist's. 25,232 The only seat now in doubt is Boothby, South Australia, where Mr J. L. Price (Labour) has 20,760, and leads Mr J. G.
