STRAND THEATRE.
♦ TO-DAY'S PROGRAMME. "Heaven on Earth," starring Renos Adoree and Conrad Nagel, will be presented at the Strand Theatre to-day. It tells of the revolt of Edmond Durand (played by Conrad Nagel) from the ambitions of his aunts, who would have him marry a woman he does not love. A passing troupe of gypsiesbring him the realisation of the futility of the lite ho is leading, a life of luxury and wealth, and he joins the gypsies for a lawless restless life and for peril and adventure. . 1 here follows an extremely interesting story ot his love for tue beautiful Marcella (played by Renee Adorce), and their subsequent adventures. Conrad Nagel as Durand is excellent, especially in the scenes in which be is dressed as a vagabond. Others in the cast include Gwen Lee, Julia Swayne Gordon, Marcia Manon, and Pat Hartigan. "The Lodger," starring Ivor Novello, a comedv, a scenic, and the final episode of "The Trail of the Tiger," complete the bill.
