SCHOOL FETE.
BAZAAR AT BECKENHAM. A bazaar and flower show is now being held at the Beofcenham. School, the object being to raise money for the general school funds. The proceedings commenced last evening with musical and elocutionary competitions for the children, and' there was a fair attendance of parents and friends to see in what prodigious manner the young idea expressed itself and gave utterance to its art and talent from the concert platform. The judges last evening were Mr V. Peters (musical) and Mr Goodland (elocutionary). To-day a flower show and a cookery exhibition will be held in conjunction with the fete, which will include a number of side-shows and produce and sweet stalls. In the afternoon dancing events will be held.
