CANTERBURY COUNCIL. The annual meeting of the Canterbury Council of the New Zealand Horticultural ■ Trades Association was held in the White Star board-room last evdfiittg. Green, Dominion organiser. The annual report stated that there had teen a number of meetings during the year, and 6 great deal of valuable work had been carried out. Davits, of Taranaki, as Dominion president, was supported. _ ■ Tho meetihg at this stage took the form of a Conference Committee to diaeuss arrahgementa for the. conference, to be held in Ctiriatchurch in January. A luAitt' Committee, Reception Commit' tee, and Meetings Committee were set up. Final details were left to a meeting of tho executive. •
