TOWER HILL MEMORIAL.

TO MEN OF MERCHANT NAVY. (UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION—ELECTItIC TBLEGBAPH —COPTBIOHT.) (Received November 13th, 11.40 p.m.) LONDON, November 13. The Queen, for the first time, will unveil a war memorial. This is being erected at Tower Hill on behalf of the Empire Governments in memory or 12,086 officers and men of the Merchant Navy and fishing fleets who* have no grave but the sea. It is an imposing monument consisting of a vaulted stone corridor. 64 feet long, having three bays in which the names, of the dead are inscribed on bronze panels under the names of the ships. . It is expected that the ceremony will take place on December 12th.—Australian Press Association.
